[Anim] Stocking The Fridge (1080p)

This version has more resolution and higher bitrate, so you might be able to see a bit more compared to the 720p version.

Let me know what you think of this darkish atmosphere :D

Enjoy!

EDIT: Added sound.

I discovered light range that makes the lighting softer. So you can see slightly highlighted areas :P

I'd recommend looking up Blender Guru for any starting tips. But sadly I never really used any major tutorials to learn Blender. Everything you see from me so far is whatever I randomly learned to do from using it or picked up in various places. I've been doing this for about 2 and half years, so it definitely gets you somewhat to play around :P

Pretty nice. I like the softer lighting.

I migrated to Blender just as I started my Patreon. One silly thing I tell people why I left SFM is because someone said "Oh look, I opened SFM. Give me money". I did feel quite insulted but looking past the idiocy of that statement, I realized SFM is too limited to achieve what I want out of it. Only leave SFM if your PC can handle it and you're tired of the limitation. Other than that, it's a good training ground to reap every bit of juice you can from it. Learn how to make SFM look good, then you're probably ready for Blender Eevee :P

yep frustrating that sfm hasnt had any upgrades for a long time..could even be better if a company would invest some time and effort that would get alot of support i think if offerred..seems like alot of creators are migrating to blender.. blender to steep a curve for me.. keep up the great work!

SFM has a lot of limitations (especially with only allowing 12 lights at once). That's pretty much the main difference between the 2 programs. (Pressed send too early swoops :P) But the worst thing is despite Eevee working till your PC can no longer handle it, doesn't mean the lighting won't cause issues. The engine struggled a lot with soft shadows cause of the multiple layers of light sources. So this has left me to use the same techniques as they used with the Resident Evil Remakes. The lighting changes on-demand with the camera angles. Of course some of the lights stay still in these shots, but a lot of the lighting changes with each angle you're seeing in this animation. Hope that gives an idea of what you could do if you decide to animate in SFM :)

as a longtime noob with sfm i can say lighting is alot of work to get just right.. i tend not to like to much dark the way movies do ie wtf is going on here kind of thing.. but this looks good..
