I understand that doing topical/news/politics stories probably does better in the algorithm but I love coming to TCL for the old school storytelling. For me the best episodes are the older or obscure true crime stories that you can riff on or make jokes about. I think it would be a shame if TCL became like the other reaction channels talking about the same topics in the news.

(Huge public investment on the Interstates, public schools, etc., extremely high marginal tax rates on high incomes (70%). Common people could buy a decent home. Those were the days. Compared to today's conservatives, Eisenhower and Nixon would be considered socialists.

Ive heard some pretty cool suggestions for content, a video talking about your time working with jcs and about the ai video thing, raja jackson update could be mentioned he got arrested. A bit political but even a video about trumps ice goons and their crimes, another crazy case is the mushroom murderer from australia, a lady killed her family by cooking their food in deadly mushrooms which she knew all about, cooking hers without the mushrooms lol not very close to getting away with it, could be a fun case.
