Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 Review Update
Added 2022-07-05 23:13:37 +0000 UTCTurns out the tool I was using to measure brightness wasn't as accurate as it was supposed to be, and led to some errors in my review. I apologize for the mix-up and have purchased a new brightness measuring tool to get more accurate data.

Overall my conclusion is the same, however I do want to highlight that the Odyssey Neo G8 is definitely much brighter than the Alienware QD-OLED, and I also forgot to highlight in my review that the Odyssey Neo G8 also has absolutely fantastic contrast ratios thanks to the 1,196 local dimming zones and great peak brightness.
I think that depending on the game it actually can be a great HDR display, but overall the PG32UQX and Alienware QD-OLED are still better HDR monitors as a whole.
