Super 8mm Overlay - Download

In this video, I set out to recreate the Super 8mm effect inside of Motion for Final Cut Pro. So I showed how to set up a video as a looping overlay for Final Cut Pro.

Then I show how to level it up using FilmConvert Nitrate which is an amazing plugin for emulating the film effect.
It's definitely not a requirement to pull off the effect. But it helps immensely in getting an extremely accurate filmic look.
I also put together a download with 4 different film mattes that you can use in FCP! It also comes with a powerful gate weave simulation, along with being set to 18fps, which really sells the effect.

Note, the download is via Dropbox, as the video files make it too large to share on Patreon.
Install instructions
Requires FCP 10.4+
Unzip, then drag the folder into Movies > Motion Templates > Titles
