We made it to Logan, Utah, but not without the car again demanding we pull over and shut off the engine. Fortunately, we can usually re-start it immediately.
Anytoot, we crashed at Traci's parents' place overnight. Then this morning we drove to the Murdoch Hyundai dealership down the road. The engine again did a shut-down just as we were trying to coast into the maintenance bay. We told our tale of woe to a Hyundai person, who promised us they'd look into it, and had us shipped back to Traci's parents place.
I sat around and drew a couple of Mink pages while we waited to hear back.
Eventually, we did hear back. Seems the problem is most likely the hybrid battery. Which is most of the cost of the car - but it just might still be under warranty! But they don't have one in stock, and won't get one in until after Saturday, the day we intended to start driving back home. Gah. There's a lot of sorting out we need to do.
One of which is, find a place that has scanners and Photoshop available, so I can turn these pages I just drew into money. I got a feeling me & Traci are going to need quite a lot of it.
