Added 2025-06-09 16:46:25 +0000 UTCSo the good wife got invited to a conference in Seattle. They'd pay for a plane ticket - or it's equivalent in gas and motel costs. So of course we decided to take a road trip. We've been hitting national parks and seeing old friends and family. It's been a great trip so far, except for the nuclear mosquitoes of the North. But they say the swelling will go down eventually, and I won't lose the eye.
Anyway, I noticed the pages I'd scheduled before we took off have run out, and it's still a week before we get back to Tucson. Right now we're in Spokane, waiting while we get Big Blue, the Ford F150 pickup that we've been driving & camping in, checked out. It developed an intermittent shudder when we drove between 45 and 65 mph. So while I have wi-fi access, I thought I'd check in with you guys, and let you know I'll hopefully be posting new comix again in about a week.
Ah well, if everything went predictably, it wouldn't be an adventure, would it?
