Weapon Pickup Method

The weapon system, at present the character is allowed to pickup when entering the Collision sphere. Is it good to leave it like that, or change it to Line trace?
Like allowing the player to pick when the screen center dot is pointed to the weapon [like in few games]
I shall work on this change based on the poll result
