Going back to the page where she has her nightmare. In that dream, one of them starts saying something like "We're only trying to--". So we have a clearer picture, and the rest of that sentence could be "retreat" or "surrender" or.... (certainly they're not going to give an obvious lie and say "take tissue samples" or "talk with you").
