BEDLAM, part 33.

Askur is introduced to the concept of servants having free time, and using that time for their own pleasure.

BEDLAM, part 33.

Well, "camera" is a Latin word. Our usage comes from "camera obscura" or dark chamber, from the old method of using a dark box + a pinhole to project a scene onto a canvas for tracing. Askur is probably wondering what kind of "chamber" this small flat object might have. OT: this is also where the phrase "in camera" for a meeting that is NOT held publicly comes from - the meeting is in a chamber, not in the open. It can be a bit confusing as coming from a modern perspective you would think being held "in camera" would be the same as "on camera" - that is, publicly observable.

So curious if anything could give his 'brain' trouble. o.O Here's hoping he'll be okay. Even with the golem book having to possibly rebuild his head could still potentially leave his present self gone. Factory reset you could say.

As he learns more about the 21st century, Askur's favorite phrase might change to "Hic mundus insanus est!"

There's no Internet connection in a millennia-old wizards' lair high in the Balkan mountains.

Giving a robot internet might be a bad idea. Internet with a camera, worst still. He might accidentally expose himself

Quid est: phrase, Lat. "Wuzzat?"

Perfesser Bear

"Cam-era?"

Taking a quantum leap from the dark ages to the cyber-age will leave one asking quite a few "Huh?"s and "Come again"s, heh

I think that "Quid Est?" is going to be Askur's favorite 2 words for a while now.
