All the Little Witches, part 208.

I think you can be dead for six minutes before brain damage from oxygen deprivation becomes irreversible?

In all this discussion of what is and is not possible, I think folks have overlooked something here. Such things usually make no sense in a dream. And what is possible depends on what the subconscious mind in REM sleep thinks can be done.

Travis Sebastian

She can reverse a little thing like THAT.

Rhio2k

That presumes the brain is actually intact instead of half-pulped?

Mark Ashworth

the time is actually 5 minutes without oxygen to the brain

Seeing as nobody has "scientifically identified, quantified, and whateverdawoodoo-ified" the soul or studied it's nature or processes upon the death of it's fleshy shell, who's to say if there is a time limit between the body ceasing to function and the soul no longer being able to return. Many folks in terminal conditions have had their hearts stop for several minutes before the needed shock or "inexplicable conditions" occur that kicks them back into full gear. And a few cases have existed where soldiers should've died from head damage and they still manage to pull through thanks to sheer will power and "never say die" natures. and Hun strikes me as just such a person . . . the kind of determined spirit that couldn't be stopped by anything short of complete disintegration!

Maybe she could only resurrect the soul, which allows Hündrat to temporarily possess people like Deadman.

Paul Lenoue

The soul might have departed the body, So she is only healing the vessel.

Speculate away! Feedback from fans is half the fun of Patreon. It gives me laughs, ideas and fair warning of when I'm getting too predictable.

Kjartan Arnorsson

Wouldn't want Mink's nightmares on a dare... :P

Major Matt Mason

Thanks. BTW, if you'd prefer I didn't speculate about where the story is going in the comments then let me know and I'll stop. I know some authors prefer that.

Jay Scott Raymond

Hündrat was trying to protect Mink from the power-suit goons. Obviously, they disapproved of that.

Kjartan Arnorsson

"You were just trying to help your friends ..." So in this nightmare are the armored goons from some government agency and Hun was doing something they disapprove of?
