It was a great series. I know people want romantic and funny scenes but the intimacy between those two is better than most BL series. When In threw over the table and Wang cut his lip, that was so powerful. I wouldn't call it a sad ending because the ending was never going to be good, even if they deserved a happy ending. It was the best you could really hope for.

2022-10-02 23:27:33 +0000 UTCI would say this is going to be one of my favorites of the year but I totally get where you are coming from. I lean toward the lighter stories but it is nice to see something darker and more thought provoking sometimes. I also don't see it as a pure play BL, more of an art film with some gay related themes. The lighting from the start was the give away of a not so happy ending. Acting, cinematography and writing added to my like of this one.
