I think Herman made a good call, here. Not a good idea to drop his benefactress President's fair-furred goon. I met a fan of my own work a few years ago -- the guy is an actor, although I had never heard of him at the time. A weird experience. Oh, and I saw a fan letter from some guy named Kjartan Arnorsson to <i>Omaha, the Cat Dancer,</i> from the mid-1980s.
