The Punisher's logo represents the skull of a small monkey (it's from the first version of his origin, which I won't go into here), but generally speaking a threatening person who's smiling at you is genuinely unnerving (I think it's a major reason why the Joker is a popular villain). I don't know what Jack's voice is like in your mind, but I imagine it's slightly electronic sounding, probably deep to match his apparent chest, but chipper and light like he's sitting down next to you in the pub to chat over a pint.
