Sid might want to look out . . . if the Mink's magical precursors are anything like D&D and other arcane workers . . . some of those books maybe more dangerous than he thinks . . . and not just because of the power they grant, but because of the toll they take on the fool that tries to use them . . . and some of the strongest grimoires have so much power poured into them they actually take on lives of their own, making them all the more unpredictable. If you're not careful . . . the book could end up using you . . . before it drives you completely mad to the point of committing suicide just to stop the torment!

This is a service done by the Vatican from 1600 to 1998 when they believed they had all the Spiritually Dangerous books like that book of Botany/Medicine that no one can Translate.. this book and many others are proof that other dimensions exists. they some how make it to our dimension no doubt with there owners.. then the owner would be charge with heresy or some such nonsense and killed. as a result no one can read the contents...
