Kai walked slowly, his thoughts turned inward, caught between disbelief and regret. He looked at his hands as if seeing them for the first time - thin, delicate fingers, now able to wreak destruction without effort.
- I just finished a person by ... stepping on him
His thoughts tangled in a loop, searching for some way to reconcile his gentle, harmless nature with this colossal form that had so effortlessly ended a life.
As Kai’s mind swirled with guilt and confusion over the accidental death he’d just caused, he took another heavy step, his enormous foot landing squarely on the couple at the crosswalk. The sound was a sickening blend of cracks and muffled screams as their lower bodies were pinned and shattered beneath his weight, twisted and contorted, their arms and faces raised in sheer agony and horror.
Kai froze, the subtle sensation beneath his toes pulling him abruptly from his thoughts. Looking down, his eyes widened in horror as he saw the couple pinned beneath his foot, their broken torsos writhing in pain, eyes wide with desperate pleas for mercy, their hands reaching up in terror and helplessness. His heart pounded as he realized the extent of what he had just done
As Kai stared on the couple trapped beneath his toes, the initial shock and guilt began to blend with an unexpected thrill. The realization of his sheer, unrestrained power - the ease with which he could end lives with just a careless step - sparked a surge of dark excitement deep within him. He felt a shiver of power ripple through his body, the awareness of his own strength sinking in with a potent sweetness that was hard to ignore.
A playful, mischievous smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he looked down at the broken, bloodied couple below, their agonized faces twisted in horror and pain. Kai leaned closer, his tone light and mocking:
- You know, I could bring you an ambulance
He teased, his voice dripping with faux innocence.
- Of course, that’d mean stomping through half the city on my way. Might end up crushing even more people by accident
His smirk widened, eyes glinting with a new understanding of the power he held.
- Maybe it’s better if I just finish you off quick
He let his words linger in the air, savoring the realization that he controlled their fates with nothing more than the slightest movement of his massive toes
