All I know about the Magnum family of revolvers is . . . that you do not want to be on their receiving end . . . and like a lady, you better handle them right, or they'll break you just as easily as they tear into the target. As for those wild machine gun shots . . . is she manages to survive this, it means she's incredibly lucky AND those goons are really rotten shots to miss her organs by just a hair's breath!

Whatever he's shooting, lots of kick, but it penetrates... <i>anything.</i> I do actually <i>own</i> a .44 S&W Magnum. It's a Ruger Super Redhawk (think, the tow truck driver's gun in <i>Men in Black</i>) Heavy frame, heavy barrel. Still kicks a bit with the hot stuff, and <i>way</i> too massive to carry. I downgraded to the .41 Magnum -- now I have three of 'em.
