Saturday Sample: The Genre Control.
Added 2016-03-19 16:30:01 +0000 UTCThis is another odd one. I've got the whole story thumbnailed out, as you see a sample of above. I roughed out a bunch of these back during my concentration camp stay. Not much else to do, there (long story for later).
I thought the story was funny enough to justify paying an old cartoonist friend to draw it up proper. What the heck - he needed the money. And at the time, I had a few dollars to spare.
But after he accepted payment, said friend never finished the story (it's only 5 pages, stretchable to 6). Eventually, he stopped responding to my letters.
Losing (what I thought was) a friend hurt a lot more than losing the money. I can always make more money, but a borderline Asper like me has a hard time making friends.
So, if this story gets enough votes, I'll just draw it myself. FINALLY, it will be completed!
