Though my mind is preoccupied with the Han Solo rescue sequence in Return of the Jedi and how you guys are right in your commentary track that it's a great sequence on its own, but disconnected from the rest of the movie and how the sequence is done mostly for effect and can be easily deconstructed to the point that nothing makes sense even moar, to quote Mr. Plinkett in the Phantom Menace commentary track. Return of the Jedi should be rewritten entirely to fit the tone and the themes of The Empire Strikes Back and Han's rescue should be much shorter and the romance plot ended in a short scene where Han and Leia catch up (as Mike proposes in the RotJ commentary) and then vow their undying love to each other. Something that says "okay, we're finally done with that plotline and now we can focus on Luke and Vader."
