End of September Updates

Most won't be edited and released until probably November since October is fast approaching and we have several spooky videos already planned for that. But one video that's shot specifically to release in October is a new Friday the 13th re:View with Mike and Jay that covers parts 1 through 5, with the second half of the series being covered...eventually, maybe? If Mike can stand to finish them! We also shot re:Views for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Raising Arizona as well as the triumphant return of Black Spine Junka!

2023-09-28 14:51:44 +0000 UTCYeah, as a fan of the series they're not hard films to get wrong. All you need is blood, nudity, a guy in a hockey mask, and a "camp" setting. It's when you stray from one of these things the quality falls. If "quality" is the correct word for it. For example, the producer Sean S. Cunningham wanted to get that "damn hockey mask" off Jason after Ft13th left Paramount, hence Jason Goes to Hell.

Also with Black Spine Junka coming up I wonder if RLM will finally watch "How to build your own haunted house". It seems to be in the loser's pile every time.

I can't tell if I'm impressed that they said "you know what, fuckit, we're going to do what people come for, A B AND C" and that's it - or what? It's ... very samey. Still we watched em because of the sneak peak from a few weeks back with the little Jason figurine, so fuckit, we'll do the lot (but I suspect once and once only, life is too short)

The lack of creative deaths makes it so uninspired. You got a guy in a wheelchair, dude who walks on his hands, a biker trio for some reason…all wasted opportunities to do something unique.
