Putting this here so you’re more likely to see it. One of my oldest friends authored those TNG Blu-rays you plugged on Re:view, and was the occasional Trekkie consultant on the restoration . Given that authors are usually treated as either helper monkeys or the masterminds to blame any flaw with any aspect of the disc onl it’s rare to hear praise, especially from a public figure. hey Jay! you should check out the recent movie "The Painted Bird". you would probably like it! it's a Polish movie but actors like Udo Kier, Stellan Skarsgård, Harvey Keitel, Julian Sands etc have minor roles in it. it's bleak and disturbing, while beautifully shot in black and white. I think it's right up your alley!

I recently re-watched the Bill and Ted movies as well, which I hadn't done since I was a kid. It was surprising how thin the story was, that the movies are far more just vehicles for the two characters/actors. And I personally don't see that as a bad thing!
