Got back from it. It was sloppy...but it was fun. That's about what I want from a Star Wars movie. It didn't quite have the visuals of TLJ and I think I appreciate that movie being a bit more experimental...but I had fun. Sequel trilogy/Disney films are still way better than the PT.

Finally... I've been waiting for you to watch the Vampire Assassin sequel.

Man I don't know, I sure didn't feel like how Mike and Rich's faces look after I left the theater. Five minutes in, I realized I just had to turn my brain off and had a pretty good time with it. It's ridiculous, absurd, but pretty fun. It was like a Saturday morning cartoon extra long season finale where they just throw everything against the wall and hope it works somehow. It mostly did for me.

Jay had never been a huge Sci Fi or Star Wars guy from what I could tell(although I think he was in the People vs George Lucas)? He seemed more impressed by the first two movies in the same way everyone in the industry is. So now that it is clear that none of these movies is gonna make it through a film school critical analysis with a passing grade, there is really no point in him chiming in; it is going to be about if these are good Star Wars movies and not good movies.
