Half in the Bag: Life and Power Rangers

Half in the Bag: Life and Power Rangers

"Murder She Tweets" is scary because as soon as Mike said it I thought "I'm surprised that doesn't already exist!

If you're wondering about promotional tie-ins, Power Rangers is notoriously cheap-ass. The TV show features actors using the cheap plastic toys as props, with close-ups on the toys.

Gordon Chapman-Fox

We do. Except for when we don't.

Red Letter Media

Why don't you guys do spoiler timecodes anymore?

Mikell

That Krispy Kreme tie-in was hilarious. The whole third act revolved around it!

Jeff Miller

Thank you! This was an exceedingly entertaining episode apart from the actual Power Ranger discussion.

I can't even remotely fathom the Krispy Kreme tie ins. I assume it was a big ass dump truck of American money driven up to their set in Vancouver.

You are 100% right Jay! Super Sentai started in Japan many years ago inspired by Ultraman and Kaiju. When they decided to bring it to America it had already been going for a long time and they knew they could use all the existing footage from the past season. So all they did was localize and film the teenagers and their high school drama in California. To this day it's monster of the week and dudes in rubber suits destroying miniatures!

Jessie Leigh

A new half in the BAG! I'm gonna cummmmm!

CosmicDebris

I don't know what drugs Mike took before filming this review, but he should make it a habit. One of the best HitB's in some time.

Jared

Oh, boy! You guys are reviewing the 1999 Eddie Murphy/Martin Lawrence movie? (Apologies if you did the joke on your webzone video...)

Daniel Frank

7.5 minutes until Mike mentions Star Trek. It's good to see his therapy is paying off.

Matthew Janda

Ooohh myyyy gaaaaawwwd??!!!!!

Samsam

Is Power Rangers Life?
