Is listening to this episode in commemoration of the 100th anniversary tasteless?

Stakes so low, they're ground beef

I went to a Catholic prep school in the 1970s. We had a really good American history textbook, but it didn't cover these riots. Father Freiberg, our teacher, told us the story. I've met very few people over the years who heard of these riots. That same day's lesson included the Bisbee Riot of 1919, and the New London Riots of 1919, in which African-American soldiers returning from WWI were attacked by white veterans. Thanks, Father Freiberg. You were a bit of an odd duck, but you were a great teacher. (If you mouthed off in class -- and I had become a notorious jokester -- he'd turn his ring around and smack you on the top of the head with it. Not really hard, just enough to get your attention. I got whacked twice over 4 semesters, and I gotta say, I was asking for it each time.)
