OMG WHAT THIS IS TRUE!!!

Hi Tim, this would be the first time I'm commenting, but I just wanted to let you know that the baby they used for Henry, is actually Colin's real-life child, who plays captain hook in the series. Anyway, thanks for the reaction.

Emma Pfiffner

Save Henry- Thank you so much for another marvelous reaction, Tim! I enjoy this episode! For me... It's not quite as good as those I feel are my favorites this season of course. However, it's incredibly acted by everyone around. Especially by Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and Robbie Kay too. First... Gold does not regain his memories and wakes from the curse until Emma's arrival in Storybrooke and then first speaks her name for the first time in front of him. Which is foreshadowed and once again confirmed, when Gold states to Regina in his shop that his memory isn't what it used to be. This line has a double meaning. But given that Gold does not have his memories upon the curse falling over him too, it's implied in the opening scene between Rumple and Regina while they're inside his prison, and in the two scenes between Regina and Gold inside his pawnshop, that Gold has put some kind of failsafe into the curse for himself. A failsafe that would enable him to find the child of the Savior, knowing that Regina would one day come to him asking him to adopt a child in the hope that a child might fill the hole in her heart that Rumple knows she has gained upon her casting the curse and killing her father. And second... It is certainly established early on in season one, and especially in season two, that no one would ever be able to leave Storybrooke or cross the town line, without losing all their memories once again, or without some kind of fatal or dangerous consequence. However, upon seeing that Regina does appear to be able to leave, given that she was able to go down to Boston to adopt Henry, I suspect that it's because Regina is the one who had cast the curse, that she is the only one who is able to leave without the consequences. It's never explained, but this is the only explanation I have for this loophole. After all... Emma is the Savior, and she has been able to come and go just fine because she is the Savior. And Henry could leave Storybrooke because he was actually born in our world. So, there are definitely loopholes for some of the characters. And three... Back in the previous episode, titled... Think Lovely Thoughts, Emma talks with Hook and Gold about a possible way for David to leave Neverland. Gold tells them that he will most likely be able to magic up a cure for the poison once they make it back home to Storybrooke. He also tells them that in order to keep David alive, David would just need to bring with him a flask filled with the waters from the magical spring that cured him and Hook's brother, so he would be ablet to continue drinking the waters long enough for Gold to be able to create the elixir. Which he will hopefully do as soon as they return home to Storybrooke. And in the previous episode, titled... Think Lovely Thoughts, David and Mary Margaret climb Dead Man's Peak again to collect the waters, while the rest of our heroes work together to stop Pan and find Henry. And now... My favorite moment in this episode is when Regina steals back Henry's heart from Pan, upon admitting to Pan, as well as to Emma and Mary Margaret that she has no regrets, in spite of all the pain she has caused in the past, because her casting the dark curse and bringing them to Storybrooke has allowed for her to adopt Henry. I really appreciate the overall idea just to be able to see how strong Regina's love for Henry really is. Because we absolutely see that Henry does help to fill the hole in her heart. However, this moment also saddens me a little too. Because it is revealed that Regina has no regrets even for killing her father, or for casting the curse that has hurt so many people. Not to mention for killing so many people in her past as the Evil Queen. It's a little unsettling. And I also kind of hate this moment too. Although... I suppose that just because she doesn't regret her past actions, this doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't feel badly about causing so much pain for everyone around her. Because I do believe that she does feel badly. So... I guess that this helps me feel a little better about this brilliant moment for Regina. And I think I just love this moment... simply because I love seeing how much she truly does love Henry, and I love seeing her kick Pan's butt!! I love seeing the strength she truly possesses. Regina is certainly growing. She's slowly changing into a better person, and after all the evil she's committed, of course her redemption is going to take a lot of work. And this is why I feel like her regrets are still upcoming. That perhaps she has yet to come to the point of feeling such regret. Or at least... She hasn't come to the point of allowing herself to feel such regret. We've seen how torn up Regina felt after killing her own father, and we've seen her feel shame and remorse in the past. I think she simply chooses to suppress her guilt and remorse, because she doesn't yet truly understand it. Next... I also really love the group scene when everyone works together to get themselves out of Neverland as they cast Pan's shadow into the Jolly Roger's sail, then seeing Hook finally begin to sail them all home at last, along with Tinker Bell, Wendy, and the Lost Boys too. Speaking of the Lost Boys, other than Felix... Seeing as Pan is actually surprised that Emma, Regina, and Mary Margaret were able to find him at his thinking tree, it's clear that the Lost Boys' intentions of revealing where he was hiding out were honorable. That they have betrayed Pan. And to me... The two boys' faces appeared genuine when they were speaking to Emma. They were clearly genuine in wanting to find a home again. After all, Pan's lies and deceptions have been growing more and more obvious to them. More desperate. And I believe that they have grown to see that Pan does not have their best interests at heart. As for the whole backstory with Regina adopting Henry... I really love it all for the most part too! I think it's sweet. However, a small part of me feels a slight bit of dislike for it as well. Because in this backstory, Regina is still the Evil Queen, who still relishes in the pleasure of making everyone else miserable. Therefore, I almost don't like seeing her find any kind of happiness so long as she remains the Evil Queen. And therefore... I really appreciate that the creators and writers had baby Henry cry whenever Regina holds him, as a way of showing us that baby Henry sensed Regina was evil, and too nervous and afraid of losing everything she wants, and that he couldn't trust Regina to love him for a while. Showing us that baby Henry needed to feel a mother's love from Regina before he could feel her as his mother. And it's a small, yet amazing detail that is very much appreciated. And in the end... Regina proves to him as much as she was able to at the time, that she did in fact love him. And while she casts a forgetting spell so she could love her son and not worry about the future and threat to her happiness, which as we all know Emma was the threat... I like the cute story she tells to baby Henry as she brews the potion. You see... If you remember back to the Pilot episode in season one, when Emma first arrives in Storybrooke, Regina has absolutely no idea who she really is. She only quickly gets the sense that Emma is about to be a threat. If Regina hadn't had made this forgetting potion for herself to drink, she would have either known right away who Emma was when she first arrived in town, or she most likely would have tried to have Emma killed long before she ever stepped foot in Storybrooke. This potion simply erases all memories of the research Regina had asked Sydney to collect for her on Henry's birthparents. At least on Emma, since it's never said that Sydney ever managed to find out anything about Neal at all. And Regina no longer was worried about Henry crying so much, seeing as Henry had come to see her love for him and stopped crying all the time by this point. I love that Regina comes to learn that Henry's birth mother is quite possibly a threat to her upon Sidney finding out for her that she was found as a baby just outside of Storybrooke the very day the curse was cast and Storybrooke was created. This is a brilliant twist to the storyline revealed way back in the Pilot episode when Emma first arrives in Storybrooke. I absolutely love this! And it's great how this episode reveals that Regina didn't know Emma was the Savior destined to break her curse for quite a while throughout season one, because she had taken the forgetting potion in order to make herself forget about the truth as to who Henry's birth mother really was until she later figures it out. I hope this long explanation makes sense and has helped you to understand what this forgetting potion has done for Regina, Tim. Now... I also love that Hook offers Henry his quarters aboard the Jolly Roger once they all get back to his ship. It is a sweet little moment. And I love how Hook, with an annoyed look on his face, easily manages to hold Felix down with his hook whenever Felix kept trying to yell at Emma and the other Lost Boys as they were giving up Pan. As you know... I love and appreciate all scenes with Hook, no matter how small they are. I have to admit... A part of me feels this episode isn't as good as it could have been, had they included Hook more, but then I also see that his character isn't necessary to be a part of this episode any more than the few moments we see of him. You know I love him. :) I really love the moments with Tinker Bell as well, especially when she receives the pixie dust from Wendy, then as Regina comes over and tells her that it's begun to glow because Tink has begun to believe in herself. I love it! I love Tink! And then... I absolutely love, love, love the scenes between Regina and Rumplestiltskin/Gold like always!! I love that Gold still acts impish and smug with Regina when she comes to him seeking to adopt a child, then complains to him about how he came to do so and who the child's mother was. Even though Gold never was actually awake until Emma first arrives in Storybrooke and speaks her name to Granny when she's checking in at Granny's Bed and Breakfast. While Regina suspects Gold knew more than he was letting on... he really didn't. Even though he has always acted just as smug even when he was cursed, as when he's his true self. He's so brilliant! :) I also love that we get to see Storybrooke again for a bit, and a few characters like Archie and Granny, as well as hear Sidney's voice too. Also... I always love the beautiful moments between Emma and her parents, whether they be just between Emma and Mary Margaret, Emma and David, or Emma with both of her parents. They're so sweet and quite beautiful. Once again... I have to admit that I don't really like that Neal is so suddenly on his father's side again, and that they're immediately so loving the moment Neal releases his father from Pandora's Box. I know Rumple has proven to Neal by now that he really does love him, and that he will do anything for Henry too. And this moment between father and son is sweet. However, their relationship has been so strained and so full of distrust for so long, that to see them suddenly act as though everything is completely fine between them now has thrown me a bit. And I don't fully trust it. It's not that I don't like this sweet moment between them, because it's a beautiful father and son moment. But it's just weird to me more than anything else. And it's mostly because Neal has been so wishy washy towards his feelings for his father in the wrong kind of way for so long now, and I really don't like it. I hope this makes sense. And lastly... Of course, Pan isn't through yet. He and Henry have now switched bodies, and Pan is pretending to be Henry, while Henry is trapped inside Pan's body that is now trapped inside Pandora's Box. Not good, but what a great twist!! It's interesting seeing Jared Gilmore acting as Pan and to see him act evil. Because we've seen Jared acting as a sweet boy for two and a half seasons now, so this is different in a really good way. Can Jared Gilmore achieve skills enough to pass himself off as Pan, while Robbie Kay is so much more the better actor between the two? I think it most certainly works. Jared Gilmore does a really good job acting as Pan does while being played by Robbie Kay. But you will have to judge this for yourself, of course. As to how Pan is able to switch bodies with Henry, since you appear to have missed it... Pan switches with him when their eyes glowed while he was still holding onto Henry's shadow, just before Henry in Pan's body is pulled into Pandora's Box. You see Pan's eyes light up as he is staring coldly at Henry to enact the body switch, then Henry's eyes light up as Pan enters his body, and finally Pan's eyes light up again upon Henry entering Pan's body. I really love this moment! Overall... A really good episode, and I am so happy to have watched your reaction for it!! So, thank you again, dear friend! I look forward to more Once Upon a Time like always. Until next time... Sincerely, Heidi
