Added 2020-11-21 20:22:47 +0000 UTCI love to draw smiles so why not show you how I go about it! I use my own mouth as reference for my smiles so not all smiles look like mine, it’s just what works with my own art style. The white lines I drew on the photo shows how the lip wobbles smoothly up and down before it meets the tip of the lip, it does that because it bends itself along the teeth! I think thats one of the aspects of the smiles that makes it look truly real and not too cartoony. Hopefully this can give you a new look into how you draw your lips!
