I want to add that this technicque can be used with any skin tone that ranges from the palest skin to deep darks. You can also change the hue of the tinting color (the one I call "orange" here) to create different undertones in the skin! You can get a much colder undertone if you use desaturated colors and purples if you aim for a dark skin color. I do skin tinting on the parts of the face that has more "flesh", while on the body I use it on joints like shoulders, elbows and on the side of the torso. Be creative with it and give your characters life! Hope this was helpful in any way!
