No, their clothes don't break. Because clothes adhere to the body and carry some power themselves, they could only tear up if the giantess intentionally stripped them of power or if they leave the bubble as you can see on this gif where Sunmer's shirt leaves the bubble and shrinks down giving its power back to her.
