actually the bg felt a bit empty & wasn't sure what to do with it , when I came across this old drawing from me https://www.deviantart.com/naomochi/art/Waterfalls-671929626 and got some inspiration! funny how your own works can be an inspiration source. And I can see how much I've improved !

I'm so glad you think it's one of my best piece! Love that you notice the small details. My favorite part hmm I loved drawing the water actually! It took me around 4 hours ( soo long! ) but it was very relaxing, like painting on numbers π€£

She is easily my favorite of your works that I have seen here or on your Twitter feed (hopefully they will agree too!). The effort, love, and attention to detail that you have given her, her hair, her outfit, and the background details is clearly obvious to me, especially with the smaller details (adding speckles to her chest leaves was a nice touch). I find your use of textures with this piece particularly cool because the leaves, metal, water, and clothing all have their own distinct look and I think you capture the essence and expected qualities of each those materials extremely well. Do you have a favorite part of your Lily piece that you enjoyed the most? Can not wait to see what you dream up or experiment with next.
