Lily lineart + base colors

Usually with time differences I have to wait a little while before most commissioners respond to me , so now I have this piece to work on when that does happen.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear you like them! I'm trying to keep the overall color pallet on the lower side, so I will probably shade the white with a green tint in it. I normally do this with blue but I think that would look a little out of place with this drawing.

Lily is certainly coming along nicely. After seeing your initial sketch last week, I was on the fence’ about the balloon sleeves. They certainly add visual flair and additional cuteness to Lily’s appearance, but there is also the risk of detracting from the simple yet delicate outfit you have given her, should the sleeves be too bulbous, too ornate, or overly colored. However, this is why you are the professional artist! I do think that your choice to opt for a simple white design keeps well to her fairy-ish outfit. Perhaps sleeve design could be an interesting variant? I also like the newer details that are now apparent, especially those concerning her crown-like hair ornament, which makes for a nice touch. I hope your commissions are fun, engaging and that you are enjoying working on them! Any particular favorites amongst your recent crop of commissions?
