True. I bet on the idea that prolonged physical trauma and the fact that Lulu could, but didn't, run away and the fact she actually did something cool clicked in his head and produced a sort of respect (not to mention RL is a tad too depressing).

But I guess if you want to tell a wholesome story about redemption then you have to steer clear of the shit fest that is RL. Time to pick up the pieces. Healing potions and bedtime stories for everypony!

I suppose a near-death experience by Timberwolf can change anybody around quickly enough. Although, I will admit that I’m confused over the text in the bottom of the last panel. What is she referring to by ‘Timberwolf mommy’ not hurting ‘him’?
