Bonus Art - September
Added 2021-10-01 06:30:00 +0000 UTCA bit late, but here's September's bonus art, inspired by Lux The Pegasus' comments about Tempest using a bow (apologies if it's not exactly what you had in mind!).
In this technique, everything is first painted in greyscale and colours are added on "glazing" layers at the very end. Admirably they often turn out a bit odd, but this method is very good if you want to work fast and/or focus on other aspects of painting (such as values or stokes).

2021-10-01 11:15:01 +0000 UTCwell the idea was for Tempest to teach Thistle to do archery and incidentally Tempest would be left-handed to denounce left-handed discrimination (I'm kidding it's another fight) but honestly the work is very beautiful. I really like the reflièfe that you added.
