Thistle & Thunder Page 58

Good morning/evening, folks!

In the little cabin in the woods, the party continues. Is "sub" how Tempest should address Thistle during their RP? Should Thistle start calling Tempest "ma'am"? What do you think?

Also, Panel 1 is a request ^^

Have a great weekend!

Will do that to the poll, thanks ^^

I think "Commander" can be quite fitting for Tempest. As for Thistle... Hmm... It could be something connected with Tempest's offer to make Thistle a better spy/agent and that would also be related to former's military background. Like Private or Cadet or Trainee.

Consider it both, a question to Thistle and question to the audience :-)

Already changed it!

Maybe one day you will remember lol. I admit I have no clue.

I agree ^^ That's why I asked because it felt off to me, too. It's just hard to judge when it's not your first language.

You mean the Tempest being "glad" panel? ^^' I want to hear the comment, witty or not!

it's pretty it's red. she's not going from the dead hoof, Tempest. because this is really red "Now ... where were we?" that's a question Tempest asks Thistle or did you ask us the question when you told Tempest?

I like it. on the other hand mistress or Madame a little less. I would stay on Commandente. it is a title which I find largely superior and which leaves rights that Tempest has and that other pony do not have.

One last thing, I'm just adding in my two cents, but you can feel free to disagree if you like. I think I've heard "sub" occasionally used as a title. Always seemed off to me. But I believe there is at least some precedent for it. But generally it is more of a descriptor than a title. Your call, though.

I feel there is a better name than "sub" or "pet"... But I cannot seem to remember. Might come to me in the morning. But "pet" will definitely sound better than "sub". But there's a different word, a word I know I've heard before in this context. One that seemed to fit better. Not derogatory, but still very clear about its meaning and implication of role. A word that would be used in the course of role play that fit and just worked. I wish I could remember. It was another playing, "you're not in charge here" kind of title, but it seemed to have less of an animal context as "pet". Frustrating thing when you know you've heard the perfect word but cannot recall, lol.

"Ma'am" might work, because that is a believable word choice the someone might really say. "Sub" is not. Sub is like a textbook word. "Sub" is how someone might describe someone else in the course of talking about them in something like the third person. But you would never address someone as "sub". You might describe them as your "sub". But you would not name them "sub" when talking to them directly. Not because it is offensive or anything, it's just a clunky word. Similar to me saying "Hey British". It's a classification word, not a name/title. I suppose if she said something like: "You've been a good sub" it could make sense. Because the word is still being used as a descriptor. (As is the case in this page) But if used as an address, something like "Pet" might seem more fluid. Like: "Alright Pet, now do X" Sorry to go off at length. But I like to give serious questions serious answers.

Every time I try to come up with a witty comment about her red swollen mare bits my eyes wander to the central panel and I start laughing again. The dialogue and her expression are pure gold.

"Pet" and "mistress" would get my vote...
