They are pretty far away, yes. I didn't establish the scene very well, but on the previous pages you can see the cabin is far on the left from where they fight. Ah yes, apparently I lived in England far too long. I have changed it now.

Those two must be pretty far for the others to not hear Lullaby’s screams. As much as I know that he’s a victim of abuse, I cannot feel any sympathy for Rust Wing at this point. He has been a nuisance at best, and a violent threat at worst. I’ve actually wished for someone in this story to kill him (even Lullaby, if that’s possible). I worry at how upset I’ll be if this attempt to take Lullaby away turns out to be successful. Lastly, I had no idea that he was either British or Japanese, as those are the only two groups of people that say ‘Oi’ (definitely not the Americans that Fireweed’s accent is modeled after).

Also, the Rust Wing against the snow really pops! (from a coloration point of view) I consider this page to be especially good eyecandy. The balance and blend of color and form really works out; It looks beautiful. Frazzled/startled Lullaby is just a little too cute.

I feel like you can almost see a little of Rusy's strength in this one. He's roughed up, but he's a machine, he just keeps going. Also, his reaction is quite a bit more measured than I was expecting. While taking a child back to their abusive Aunt isn't exactly a good thing... he is returning her to her current legal guardian. Again, I understand that isn't the place for Lullaby to be. But... this... hardly seems like an "evil" reaction. Heck, one might almost go so far as to say its... borderline responsible. I mean, no, because of the abusive situation. I just mean that returning a child to the (currently) legal guardian isn't the same thing as abducting and running off to god knows where. Or am I simply over-sympathizing with the not-nice characters?

Hmm, he looks exhausted after the trashing Tempest gave him... Lulu should kick him when it hurts and run! ... or keep on kicking!

We will find out in two weeks!
