Added 2019-11-27 09:27:34 +0000 UTCSome of you are wondering why hasn’t Lullaby realised yet that the Storm Monster and Fizzy are in fact, one and the same pony. Her age plays the part of course, but most of all, it's a confirmation bias.
It's a tendency to “search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that affirms one's prior beliefs or hypotheses”, picking and choosing data, discarding bits that don't fit the narrative.
Since Lulu has received mostly much needed kindness and affection from Fizzy, she unconsciously picks up only those “clues” that confirm Fizzy is “good”, ignoring the rest. Yes, Fizzy does weird things sometimes and can be scary, but aren't most adults Lulu has encountered in her short life -- scary? And now, when small cracks are beginning to show, it's still a long way from linking pony Lulu loves to the evil, nightmarish creature from her dreams.
