Gamer System in Campione - Chapter 21

A man with pale skin and hair and eyes black as night, in his hand was a helmet surrounded by dark energy as the dead rose around him.

A tall man who had black hair and eyes as green as sea stones, in his hand was a Trident as the seas churned in his presence.

A giant Titan who had a large white beard and a huge scythe in his hands.

A man wearing Irish armor while possessing long blond hair and a large spear in his hand.

A tall man who wore an ancient Greek toga while his white hair swayed and he held lightning in his hands.

A black-haired woman who was blindfolded and holding a scale in one hand and a sword in the other.

A man with golden hair and crimson eyes who had an arrogant smile on his face.

A tall man wearing a typical Egyptian pharaoh outfit.

A tall man, but he had the head of a hawk and big wings on his back.

A woman with white hair and bright red eyes as the sun shone around her.

A man with blond hair and beard as he held a wooden staff with a snake wrapped around it.

A being covered in a black cloak while holding a scythe and the feeling of death permeated around him.

A tall woman with dark hair and red eyes while wearing a Roman toga and several magical waves floated around her.

A big muscular man wearing ancient Roman clothing while holding a hammer.

They were all different beings, but all those who faced the young man had one thing in common.

"Gods..."

I knew right away. The youth's opponents were gods.

There was Thanatos, the Greek God of Death. Erlang Shen, the Greatest Warrior in Heaven. Shiva, the Destroyer. Jormugandr, the serpent of Ragnarok among many others.

Various gods from different pantheons. All killed by the same young man.

Suddenly, the images disappeared and the young man sat silently on a rock. His scepter stuck in the ground beside him.

So I really realized who it was.

"The Seventh Champion"

*End Flashback.*

As Goddodin finished telling what his daughter had said, Ozymandias had his eyes wide with shock.

He knew Alice's powers as a Hime-Miko were powerful, she was called the Highest Witch of Heaven for a reason, in the world of sorcery the number of people who could match her could be counted on the fingers of one hand , that aside from the Campiones of course.

But even so what Alice had done was shocking, for a talented Hime-Miko to be able to use [Spiritual Sight] she had to be in front of the person who was the target, and what she could see was little about the target.

But he and Alice weren't even close to each other, hell they were in different countries and yet she was able to get a glimpse of him.

Not only did she see flashes of his struggle with several of the Heretic Gods he had killed, this was simply nonsense.

"Your Majesty..."

Ozymandias was brought out of his thoughts by the voice of Goddodin.

"As she..."

The Sun King's eyes flicked to Alice and glowed green for a moment and he found that most of Alice's bones were getting stronger, the slower the longer lasting she was healing.

"She is healing" the Sun King replied, "Slowly but surely, she is healing"

And with that, the joy on Goddodin's face made even Ozymandias surprised.

Some time later.

The interaction between Goddodin and Ozymandias continued as Alice's father asked questions about the Seventh Campione who calmly answered everything.

The Sun King had no problem answering the man's questions as he had nothing strange about them.

But something made Ozymandias stop and surprise Goddodin.

The Seventh Demon King's years of battle-honed instincts made him look at Alice as he saw that she was nearly healed, but that was nowhere near what he was on the alert.

It was the one who had come up there.

In the middle of the room, a man emitting a bluish spark appeared out of nowhere. He was dressed all in black, looked about 26 years old and had a serious face.

He ignored Goddodin's cry of surprise and the sudden tension in Ozymandias' body at going into battle mode, and headed straight for Alice.

"White Witch, why aren't you using your ectoplasm or prediction? I thought you would be able to predict my arrival with your abilities" The man said as he walked quickly towards Alice.

"Ah! Prince Alec! Please don't disturb her now" Goddodin stopped in front of the man named Prince Alec.

Ozymandias' eyes widened slightly as he realized who the man in front of him was.

This man all dressed in black was Alexander Glascoigne, the fourth Campione, the "Black Prince Alec".

The man looked at Goddodin and ignored him as he pushed him aside to talk to Alice.

"Please don't disturb Alice, Alexander Glascoigne. She is currently healing and must not use her abilities," said Ozymandias as he stood up.

Ozymandias' voice stopped the Dark Prince from further questioning Alice as he turned to Ozymandias and narrowed his eyes clearly feeling the power of the being in front of her.

"And you are?" He asked.

No, he didn't ask. He ordered the answer to be answered only through her presence. He was a man who didn't ask but ordered. He exuded the aura of a man with supreme confidence who was stern, but not stern enough to be considered brutal. He was a man who wanted order and competence from his subjects, and he asked for nothing else.

"Ozymandias" said the Sun King as his eyes glowed gold and he placed himself in front of Alec: "The Seventh Campione"

To Alec's credit, all he did was slightly widen his eyes in surprise.

"So you are the mysterious Seventh? The one who defeated Gawain yesterday" He commented as his eyes seemed to bore into Ozymandias, studying him closely and carefully.

Thereupon the Sun King's eyes met the Dark Prince's eyes, they showed nothing but unshakable strength.

The silence was palpable as they both looked at each other, sizing each other up, both suppressing the slight buildup in their blood that urged them to fight and compete and conquer each other.

The Black Prince was the first to break the silence: "Are you healing the White Witch?"

"Yes"

"Through your Authority?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I'm curious"

"Then I have no obligation to tell you"

"No, you do not have"

As they finished speaking, they both looked at each other, for Goddodin it was clear as day the enmity of the two Campiones which would most likely result in a disagreement between them.

And when that happened it was very likely that the Campiones would fight to the death in search of the supremacy.

"I'll tell you my ability" Ozymandias said, after a brief contemplation he added, "Only if you tell me something in return"

The Black Prince's eyes hardened for a moment.

Alec was not a person who would normally trade. This person didn't like to be manipulated at all. For this person, the answer consisted only of "yes" or "no".
