ER9 - Russia: new patron EMU. And also an update of two mods.

In this post we will briefly talk about the new electric train ER9MK, which today became available to the patrons of the team, after the release of the main mod "ER9 - Russia" in Steam Workshop. And we'll also tell you about the update of two mods, including one from Steam Workshop.

News 1: a new electric train for the patrons of the team.

So, the patron content of the mod "ER9 - Russia" was replenished with an additional electric train, which was commissioned by Nikita Ulyanov - ER9MK-579 from Far Eastern Railroad. Initially we did not plan to expand the content of the main mod, but we thought that this train fits perfectly into the theme.

Train Features:

• Carefully recreated coloring, with all lettering and signs
• New authentic interior, made from available photos
• Many small changes in the model (roof equipment, inter-car passages, covers on the gauges, etc.)
• New windows (there are blind windows in the center)

In connection with the release of the new train, the archive with the modification was reloaded to our google disk (3$). The new name is VKMC_ER9_Russia_pat_1.rar.

News 2: update of Russian gondola pack in early access.

The megapack of Russian gondola cars that went into early access in August has received an important update. It turned out that old railcars of PGK, RZD and IRT did not work with slider sounds (to be more precise, they do not make sounds at all). The bug is fixed, the updated archive is uploaded to disk.

News 3: KTM-19 update (public and patron version)

A texture file bug has been discovered in the KTM-19 mod. We accidentally didn't remove the line that prohibits compression of the streetcar textures. On the one hand, this makes the streetcar look as good as possible. On the other hand, it makes the computer very heavy, especially for players with weak computers.

Now textures are allowed to be compressed. If your PC does not have enough video memory, the game will automatically compress the tram textures. Although they will become worse in quality, this will have a positive effect on performance.

For Moscow (public) and Nizhny Novgorod (patrons') streetcars, we have set a setting that prohibits reducing texture resolution so that the inscriptions on the streetcars do not turn into mush.
