august update!!

Thank you as always to all my patrons for August! ❤

You may have gotten an email for Patreon or seen social media posts about Patreon's pledge processing issue going on yesterday and today. Many of people's pledges were being marked as declined, and it seems like the issue may have come from Patreon changing the location of where the payments were processed and causing banks to flag them as fraudulent - at least, that's what I gathered! I noticed it affected some of you all as well, but now it seems like 99% of the pledges have gone through. (I hope Patreon steps up their game for next month so we don't have to deal with this again! @_@)

Aside from all that stuff: I really enjoyed doing the bikini fanart poll in July, so I'd like to do something similar for this month too. I'm considering doing two different sketches, one being a gay pairing or featuring a man, and the other being a lesbian pairing or featuring a woman, just to add some variety! I'll have to think about the options but should be putting up those polls soon. >:3

On the more personal side of things, some of you may know that my mom recently underwent surgery and has been in the hospital for the past week. Thankfully she's recovering and there were no complications, but she will need medical assistance at home and may be going back in for another surgery in the near future. She requires the use of a wheelchair now, so things have been extra challenging. Despite this stuff going on work has been going along fine for both me and my husband - it's a source of stress, but at the same time it's helped me reconnect with my mom a bit more, and I'm thankful to be there for her. Thank you as well to everyone who wished her well during this time!!

That's all the updates I have for the moment, but lots more stuff will be coming soon. Hope that if it's summer where you are that you're handling the heat okay!! Stay cool out there~
