big boi update

hello there

as you may or may not know i had/have a lot planned for this year so i just wanted to give you guys an update on how all my projects are going so far & what's happening with them in the near future 👀

• Chipflake

the next video i'm working on is actually a commission from a musician, so its a short music video but in the style of a chipflake skit video (as in, chip getting up to his antics), i'm loving how its turning out so far tbh so i can't wait for you guys to see it! currently deciding on the animation style for it and i'll probably have a poll up on here sometime soon so you can help choose if you'd like :D i'm also gonna be streaming working on this video on my livestreaming channel  sometime in the next few weeks so you can see how it's going 

the winner for the last poll was a video about taxes, and back pain (which won by like 1 or 2 votes lol) so i'll be working on that in-between working on the music video while waiting for feedback, i'm not sure when either of these vids will release just yet (and which will be done first) but likely mid february!  

• Merch

i have been working on a ton of merch related stuff lately becauuuuuse i may or may not be looking into selling at some conventions this year :D its not set in stone yet but i'll keep you guys updated about it, everything is gonna be available online first anyway and to avoid spoilers for now lets just say there's some very cool stuff on the way

in the meantime i did just release my font on my shop and if there's any other digital things you'd like to see me make let me know :>

• Livestreams

my streaming channel got a soft-revamp last month with a new vtuber model and overlay as well as a Chip who reads out donations! i'm gonna be slowly remaking everything else (avatar & banner, and emotes) and just generally improving the stream over time. i'm debating if i wanna stream longer or more frequently (both probably won't work out unfortunately lol), and eventually i wanna figure out a way to have interchangeable characters, maybe controllable with channel points or something like that

it's a little older now but i also have a schedule so you can keep up with when i plan to stream next in your timezone  

• Project CF

so Project CF (the chipflake videogame) got a huge overhaul! the dev is working on an english update video and we'll have a download link to the new version of the game for everyone in the Project CF Supporter tier (and up) very soon (once the next big update is complete) - i'm also working more actively on the project in terms of concept art & writing so i'll be sharing some sneak-peeks of that soon! its looking awesome so far and i can't wait for you guys to playtest it :D

• Commissions

i've opened a couple commission slots for icons and custom artwork here on patreon! check out the tiers for them if you're interested in getting a custom illustration from me, you don't have to stay subscribed to those tiers and can cancel/reduce your pledge immediately if you just want one drawing!

• German channel

after a bit of experimentation i've decided to change the focus of my german channel to videos instead of livestreams, this way i feel like i can be a bit more creative with the themes/topics i cover and i can also implement english subtitles! my first two videos (second one is going public on tuesday @ 5pm) already have eng subs if you wanna check 'em out. i'm planning to make more reaction & vlog style content over there and since i'm getting help with the editing i should be able to release videos about once or twice a month

i've also been thinking of converting this patreon into a page for all of my projects rather than just chipflake - it kinda already is but specifically in regards to my german channel i was thinking of including video credits on that channel as a reward too, i'll probably make this a poll at some point but feel free to give your thoughts on that already if you'd like 0:

• Cats of the Underworld

if you didn't know, my partner and i have a collaboration channel and, as you can probably tell i kinda have a lot on my plate so he is in charge of running that channel now :'D we're planning regular streams & podcasts once we get back from the UK, and just started a Portal 2 (first time) playthrough which we'll be continuing once we're back! :>
