Prison Cell WIP

Actually struggled with how to introduce this scene as I couldn't figure out  what angle to go with, the size of the cell (because it's pretty big in the original game), the colours and what detail should it have as it's simply a dark green room and most prison cell interiors are devoid of colour variation or patterns. In fact the crates probably shouldn't be there but for the sake of visual information and consistency I'm gonna leave'em in.


The shot will begin with the cell door opening off screen with light streaming into the cell followed by Snake being thrown in and landing on his back with the door slamming shut afterward. Snake's going to be a bit beat up, also, as he kind of deserves it for killing 4 guys and breaking another's nose. Anyway enough blabbering.

Probably not, reason why I wanted to do Metal Gear 1 is due it having a scarce story which meant I could insert my own point of view or vision into it, with the sequel it's very plot heavy so there isn't much room for interpretation. Other reason is, once this video is complete I won't be animating again, especially not a long form project like this that takes years to do.

After you're done with the metal gear 1 msx animation, do you plan on making a metal gear 2: solid snake animation? I mean, I would love to see concept art of what solid snake and big boss would look like from metal gear 2 in your art style.
