Hello everyone! (tl;dr version on the bottom)

I wanted to take some time to talk to you all about the recent polls we've had here on Patreon, and what effect they will have, and give you some insight on how this season of Diamond Dive is shaping up these days.

Let's go in order!

1) The NSFW Poll
I asked patrons in the NSFW tiers whether they would like to continue to receive the monthly nsfw art (coloured) or switch to a nsfw comic and get 1-2 pages every month (greyscale), or art one month, comic page(s) the next month - and the vast majority of you voted for the last option!

Because of this, I started to script and plan some NSFW one-shots. Currently I am mainly focusing on 2 possible stories [Angel x Devil AU, and New Girl (Bailey) x Mean Girl (Karta) AU]. When I have them worked out a bit more, I'll put up a poll to see which one you'd like to get first. I think this reward will start somewhere around fall/winter, I'll explain why a bit further below. ✨

2) The Poll about the Patron List

I asked y'all whether I should keep the patron list at the end of my episodes on webtoon, or not.

As you can see, this poll was really tight, and I was very torn on what to do with the list.

Some of you suggested only having higher tiers on the list, but I would prefer not to make a distinction between y'all like that. Others brought up that hopefully this list will only grow, and that the time spent on keeping it updated could go towards the comic instead.
Some of you said to just entirely remove it, but I would prefer to have some form of acknowledgement in there still.

So after considering all the feedback I got, I decided to swap the list to a Thank You note starting next month. Hopefully this middle-ground works out for all of us!💖

3) Diamond Dive season info!

In previous Q&A eps, I usually said DD will have 3 seasons. As I was developing the story though, I realized that it's not 3 shorter seasons, it's 2 long ones, and both of them will have a Mid-Season Finale point. (Like a half-way mark I guess.)
I didn't axe any of the story, I just realized that there is no reason to have season 2 and 3 be separate, because they will feel very short compared to season 1, so I merged them!

And speaking of Mid-Season Finales, we are approaching the first one in the story!
Tomorrow's update on webtoon is going to be the first update of Episode 34 - Odd Eye. The last update of that entire episode (so about 7 updates I think) is our first Mid-Season Finale!
When we get there, DD will go on a break on Webtoon and Tapas, so I can properly write and thumbnail the second half of Season 1. However, my Patreon will NOT go on a break, don't worry! I will give you all regular updates about the work I'm getting done, I'll share snippets of the script and show you thumbnails and previews. My NSFW tiers will be active as well, and if all goes well, I will actually introduce some new rewards before DD comes back from the break. ^^ (And who knows, maybe I can hire some extra help and come back with 3 updates a month?? that would be so cool dfsdhjfjgfh 😭😭)

So to have this all simplified down a bit, here's a very estimated schedule:

Tomorrow:
- First update of Episode 34.
Somewhere around September/October:
- Last update of Ep.34 - Mid-Season Finale
FROM SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER(?) 2022:
- HIATUS ON WEBTOON AND TAPAS - ACTIVE ON PATREON!
- Developing second half of Season 1
- Re-working some Patreon rewards
- Launching NSFW comic reward
EARLY 2023
- DD is back with a vengeance!👏💖
RINSE AND REPEAT AT S1 FINALE & S2 MID-SEASON FINALE.

The exact timeline might change a bit, but generally speaking, this is the plan!
