Did I buy the Macbeth font just for this??? yea. but i know some folks don't love text on art so I've added a textless version just for youuuu 🩶

I've made this piece so I can print it for The Ineffable Con since this year's prompt for their zine(that I'm too late for lmao) was "theatre" or something similar. I loved the Macbeth production with DT so much so getting to play with the colours they used for the branding was really fun!

Lore? Explanation? From when I shared the initial sketch:
I don't have a full plot, but the idea is that Crowley goes along with Aziraphale's request to come back to Heaven and they both eventually go numb and maybe even a little insane soon after. Much like Macbeth follows his wife's plan and they both end up being eaten alive by regret and guilt and whatnot(I'm great at summaries).
And this moment here is where Crowley is forced to pull his broken halo out of holy water, so it can be put back together again while his demonic traits are slowly melting away from him(see the tattoo on his face). Meanwhile Aziraphale(in the role of Lady Macbeth), is putting on his archangel halo, already realising that he's made a grave mistake...
