For 2024 I thought a fun way to teach yall would be to share some wip pics and make a note on each! There is lots to learn. Please feel free to ask questions about any of the strange processes seen here!
Picture 1 - Selenes eyelids- these are magnetic with a felt backing, and interfaced minky for the eyelashes. I used my heatpress to interface the minky. Same setting as the eye sublimation works fine but you may want to test to get the right temp for you!
Picture 2- Test Fit of Selene! Shes missing a horn!
Picture 3 - I shave scraps down to the back to adhere magnets onto
Picture 4 - Clipping a fleece outer rim to our headliner so that we can use this to wrap around the outside of the base.
Picture 5 - Re-doing Siaettos ears, we cover the fur in wrap before using spray glue (the type is in another post under materials)
picture 6 - Fern and Kita looking pretty after spending an evening getting their internal lining sewn
Picture 7 - We had some lycra bleed and ruin a clients paws, so were redoing them!
Picture 8 - A custom Tail pattern for Dusk
Picture 9 - Two finished bodysuits completed in our remote workshop with Soul Smoothie.
Picture 10-11 - A re-do of Xipsyls tail. We recommend interfacing the nftech in an application like this. This tail was re-done twice and is a reminder to always make an insane amount of tick marks when doing a long thin tail. Otherwise it will curve and kink and look awful!!
Picture 12 - Siaettos tails- two parts ready for sewing. Yellow is lux, white is fox, and black is flotaki!
Picture 13 - a prototype foot paw pattern I hope to share in the future.
Picture 14 - Little macaroons (theyre actually earings) printed using Polysmooth filament for the polisher. I will be sharing this 3d Model soon. The earings themselves are sandwhiching a magnet. There is a magnet inside the suits ear that it can attach to!
Picture 15 - A bonus pic of Quinns test fit and Kitas head!
