Once the most important things have been said and apologies have been made on the day Aziraphale comes back and decides to stay forever, maybe they'll end up like this because they can't keep their hands to themselves. Perhaps the plan was to drive over to Crowley's flat to have a nicer bed for it but honestly, who has the patience for that? And it's thrilling, to finally and wholly embrace their own side out in the open! Imagine if someone had a peek through the windows of the bookshop doors at just the right angle. They'd certainly get an interesting view...
