I keep seeing them do what I'd been hoping they'd do, and that ball just keeps rolling with this "and then their bond was stronger" entry. I was having a bad day when the WIP was posted and the look of pure relief on his face, even from just the line work, was so good to see that it made me feel good. Didn't know how much I missed her tail hearts until now, either. I love the little faces that started getting added to her text boxes a while into the comic, too :3 Really captures that moment of mutual reassurance of "I'm not going anywhere, and neither are you." Alex didn't just protect Vanny's smile, he brought it back in the first place. Now she's doing both for him too and I can see he knows he's done good and he is good. Did I mention I love both of these two? Because I do.
