"I have things to do at home" is something Forneus says a lot to get out of uncomfortable situations with Lucidrien. When the angel gets too close to confessing his never-ending love for him again, for example lmao After the events of the apocalypse that didn't happen, Forneus being the anxious lil demon he is, says the same thing because: oh gosh! They could actually talk about these things now! What if Lucidrien expects him to broach the topic of starting a serious relationship or what if he wants him to be romantic?? He would have to use his skills as a demon of Rhetoric and Languages which never really seem to have worked around Lucidrien in the first place, so what do now? Hiding sounds like the best option, so he tries to do exactly that but not without accidentally saying all the wrong things, everything he doesn't mean, and ends up hurting his angel a great deal. Once he gets back to his place, he has a little moment of self-reflection and clarity and realises - of course - nobody and nothing else feels more like "home" than Lucidrien 👏🏻

(I promise, they will learn how to communicate later on as well lmao)

These lads are incredibly dramatic because that's how I am, too, I hope you enjoy their stories anyway! I wish I could actually write proper fan fiction...

Another thing about Forneus: I think he's a sex-positive ace person! Lucidrien is pretty horny and pretty sexual so it can happen that they bump against each other with their wants and needs sometimes but mostly it's just hilarious. Forneus will just go "Oh, again?!" and they either laugh it off and cuddle for a bit or they act on it!
