They’re finally done! They both took over 30 hours to make and the Crowley one was very frustrating but I loooove how they turned out.
Now some explanations for those of you who are interested:
Both are supposed to be interpreted as Kings/Royalties, hence the outfits, the capes(Crowley’s feather look a bit more rough because I wanted to keep his demonic traits!) and crowns. Both are depicted alongside some flowers. Crowley got the white, royal lilies and Aziraphale got red hibiscus flowers which are also a symbol of royalty in some cultures. Additionally, I kept some characteristics from both of them in the designs, scales and the throne for Crowley and eyes and the ring for Aziraphale.
Aziraphale also got a new design for his sword. The sword is supposed to make him the protector of the earth, he’ll do everything in his power to protect its living things until the end of time.
Crowley is holding an imperal orb in the form of a golden apple. Generally the imperial orb was shown as an orb with a cross on top and represented the world/universe and the one holding it acted as the ruler/saviour of it(for a more in-depth explanation please google it, I’m not good at explaining wahh). It was also a big sign for Christianity so let’s scratch that. So why give him an imperial orb? Translated to german imperial orb is "Reichsapfel“ and translated back to English it would roughly be "kingdom apple". I decided Crowley’s imperial orb doesn’t represent territory but knowledge. He watches over it and passes it on to the living things of the earth!
I hope that makes sense...? This description is a wild ride man, feel free to point out mistakes if they’re really annoying 😂
So yeah! I hope you like those big bois, I’m thinking of making them into prints alongside the zine!
