Ah yeah. Our church is trying a church plant model where our pastors all work in the communities they are in full-time and are also pastors. We are inner city so money is scarce and you gotta do what you can.

2024-07-04 18:19:03 +0000 UTCMy church is connected to helping plant churches with ARC, and as I understand it ARC gives an investment, as well as resources and community, to church planters, who are then asked to re-invest that same amount to plant more churches once they are able.

My husband is a pastor and would disagree with that. He gave a few passages about this. 1 Corinthians 9:3-12 & 1 Timothy 5:17-18. Just a little food for thought. We love you guys so much and just want to make sure you guys are sharing solid teaching with people who don’t know the bible. Keep up the good work, we really look forward to your podcast every week! Especially when our 6 month old takes 2-3 hours to go to bed at night. Its a great way to wind down 😂 If you guys ever want a pastor guest in the podcast my husband is down! Additionally, I believe after the initial investment funding is paid back, there isn’t necessarily a requirement on a cut continuing to go to ARC. On a different note, I do believe there may have been some internal issues with ARC leadership that doesn’t seem too great.
