Ohh I've seen a lot of people have reacted to Sicario so that one is on my list but I didn't realize it was part of a trilogy! Interesting! Maybe I will react to it soon since you think I will like it. Thank you so much for your comments and recommendations. :)

I just finished watching a movie called Hell or High Water from 2016 which I really think you'd enjoy if you liked the themes of this movie. Upon doing some research it's actually part of something called the American Frontier Trilogy, along with 2 other movies called Sicario (2015) and Wind River (2017) which I had already seen.. All by the same writer/director. They aren't actually connected, each movie is a different story with different characters but they share the same themes of struggle and loss and are also quite topical while taking place in the American heartland, unifying the creators vision. They also feel like throwback films kind of like this one you just watched. Where they take their time and engross you in the world and characters. All are of the crime/thriller/action genre but touch on provoking facets of life, much deeper than that. All three movies are highly acclaimed and brilliantly acted and I think you would appreciate watching them one day in the future. Cheers!
