CHARACTER PACK INSTRUCTIONS

Important changes in the new Character pack update:

Character pack price is now 55$

The payment can be done via paypal or using a Patreon feature. 

Patreon tier will cease to exist and the “legendary” role in our discord will be guaranteed permanently even if you just payed for 1 character pack

Character packs ARE NOT ACCUMULABLE, this means, you can only get 1 per update. 

Now, the character pack also includes a Zip file with all the files of your character! Including: All the CG in png files AND the PSD files! Also, a copy of the script in a txt. doc!

The payment must be done fully to start the process

Wait, but, if I buy a character pack, and I want to do a long story, how do I guarantee my slot if I want to continue? Cuz somebody may win that slot if I forget to tell Embers that I want to continue paying…

—-- good question: you’ll get priority. This means, that if you paid for a character pack for the last release, Embers will ask you in a DM if you want to continue after the patreon release date. Be fast, you’ll have between 4-5 days to confirm, and around another 5 days to do the payment, after that you’ll keep the slot for another release, but if you don’t, DA will publish the calendar announcing the amount of “Character pack slots” that are available, and once this is done, the priority will be given to the person who writes to Embers first.

So, how do I get a character pack?

—--After the release of the calendar, if there are slots available, simply write a DM to embers. Remember whoever writes first will get priority. After that, embers will confirm your slot, and you just need to go to Patreon and buy the product called “Custom character pack” wich will have your Patreon nick attached. DO NOT buy the pack if you haven’t received Ember’s confirmation; Don’t worry, you’ll simply get a refund. (You can do the payment via paypal too)

We only have 2 slots available per update, so stay tuned!

PLEASE, do not ask about how many slots are available before the calendar for the next build is released

In our discord server, a member can have a role called “legendary story teller”, this role is acquired by “commissioning” a character pack. Character packs will essentially let you put your OC inside the game.

This process was made via patreon subscription for the first months it was created, but due to some problems rules have changed. Please, make sure to read well before sending a DM to embers in order to start this process.

What is a Character Pack?

A Character Pack will let you put your own character in our game! however, we will need some information for that

What do we need from you?

We need a drawing of your OC or an idea of what you want, you can use pictures of animals or body reff photos, in any pose you want, including the colors, race, etc. For clothes, you can also draw them or you can search for a picture that matches what you want. You can choose any pose you want for the IDLE. Remember the character will be redrawn to match the artstyle of the game, so you don’t need to do a masterpiece! We just need to understand your idea! Also, we need to know the dialogs you want for your short story, you can write them all by yourself, or just give us an idea of what you want!

What does a Character Pack include?

-One character IDLE 

-One character dress

-One character interactive pose (The pose that your OC will have in the background to click on it)

-2-5 facial expressions

-If your character has a tail, or long ears, you can get variant poses for these extremities, maximum 2 per each body part.

-Two character sprite bubble

-You can put your character in any scenery that’s already in the game, except MC house

-A maximum of 55 dialog lines (You can make MC say 20 and your OC the other 35, or your OC can say the 55 lines, you can distribute this the way you want!) 

What if I already have a character in the game?

You can put another one, or continue the story with the OC you already have in the game.

Continuing the story contains the following content:

-Sprite design for your OC’s affection hearts! (Only if you want it; some stories doesn’t need affection system)

-1 day of progression in the story, you can make it have the basic 2 choice system, or you can do a fully lineal story.

-2 Big CG poses, and 3 small variations for each one of them. Small variations = Cumm, sweat, different facial xpressions, etc, basically, anything that doesn’t compromise the base pose of the CG. The amount of variations may increase if you want to re-use an old pose or scene of your character.

-If you want to add new backgrounds that need to be designed from 0, you’ll need to choose between this, or adding new features to your character IDLE

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

What we DON’T DO:

-We don’t do masculine Male characters, femboys are allowed

-No human characters for BetweenBeasts(Mainly just to maintain the essence of the game)

-We don’t do fanart of other artist OCs, BUT, you can use them as a reference for your OC.

-Extremely fat characters or ssbbw. chubby is good tho

-No underage characters or underage-looking characters!

-Massively big-cock characters 

-No weird fetishes like vore, scat, gore, golden shower, giantess, etc.

There are some other things that may be negotiable, you can always ask!

CAREFULL, NOW IT’S POSSIBLE TO LOSE YOUR CHARACTER PACK!!!!

This is a disclaimer we forgot to add initially, but there are certain things and situations that will make you lose your character pack. DON’T WORRY, it’s not really anything complicated. 

these are the things that will make you lose your character pack, and maybe even get you banned, be careful:

(Warning: these measures has 0 relation with the behaviour of our current legendary members. This is just something we needed to warn our community; our legendary members are both of them great people!!!)

• Being a bad person with embers. Insults, racism, Or any pejorative or derogatory treatment towards our staff has 0 tolerance, you’ll get an insta ban, and YOU CAN ALSO LOSE YOUR MONEY depending of the development progress, so be polite and mature, if you don’t like something it’s ok, you can always talk and Embers will do it’s best to make ya happy!! 

• During the “commission” process, Embers will contact you constantly to confirm that you like the way your OC is being created, make sure to answer at least to confirm that you like the result, if you suddenly disappear, and you DON’T confirm the process, your character pack will get paused till you do so, and if you don’t answer till the release day, your character pack WON’T BE IMPLEMENTED IN THAT UPDATE, but in the next one.

• Make sure to read well the “WHAT WE DON’T DO” section, if you do the payment without asking about what you want, Embers may tell you it doesn’t want to do that kind of content, so in the worst scenario you’ll get a refund and lose the slot.
