If you haven't listened to my SFW ASMR ~ Buns in Ma Bed, you should. And for those wondering, yes, my first pet really was a bunny. She was the feistiest little thing.
For my exclusive this month, I wanted to share with you one of my all-time childhood favorites, The Velveteen Rabbit.
The Velveteen Rabbit is a British children's book written by Margery Williams. It tells the tale of a stuffed rabbit's dream to become real through the love of his owner.
This read is an abridged version, but if you really like it, maybe one day I'll read it in full. Or if you're curious, here's a link to the full story.

I hadn't realised you'd done this story until the notification for the more recent story. I've heard this read by another VA and I fucking LOVE this story and your voice suits it so well. Now I have an abridged version when there's a nice 10 15 min period to just relax...

2021-09-01 12:33:08 +0000 UTCMy mom read me The Velveteen Rabbit and "Guess How Much I love You" every single night before bed, and they were always my favorite (I had the copy where the rabbit had the fur you could touch and feel on the cover)- We can't talk anymore for, complicated reasons, but this brought me back to when I was a kid and she would read me this and the other story, every, single, night (with a book called I love you Stinkyface mixed in as well), so thanks Skitty, it was really nice to feel like a kid again

Never really heard this story before, and it felt really warm in the end, and the premises were actually really sweet Idk. Right in the feels. *cries some more* An- an- *wails* annnd the mean ol' governess is so indifferent and says to burn him too. Af- *chokes* after he's been such a good stuffy and taken such good care of the boy. *sniffs* *wipes eyes on back of paws* *tries to catch breath* And he doesn't even get to say good bye! *fresh tears* *bawls eyes out* *finally catching his breath a bit* At... at least he gets to be real in the end. It is bitter sweet but... *hic* *holds teddy arms out and up asking for hug* is teddy real?
